Sudddenly Zane stood up fully awake. "Okay Fire I agree to your little "peace treaty". But one question..." Zane went in a pouncing position and tackled Fire gently. "Who are the alpha male and the female of the new terittitory, because we just can't be both be alphas. It's not wolf like." Zane said as he got off Fire.

well I thought we could rule together we should not have it so Either of us rule alone please consider we cold each have the position it may not be wolf like but it would be nice to do that hat do you say can we do this together?

Zane laughed. Zane ran up towards Fire. They were so close that they couls see each other's pupils. Zane sat down and took a long breath. "Well, Fire, my father spent his whole life making the ShadowLights pack into what it is today. His wish for me was to make the Shadowlights the most feared pack in the woods. My whole life I spent trying to be what he wanted me to become. I became a monster. I just can't let it go. I wish I could, but I can't. But then I met someone. Sha...I mean she changed me, I thought I had a hard life...but I was wrong. I WAS A FOOL!!!" Zane yelled. Suddenly something hit him. Zane turned aroud it was a dart. Zane knew what it was. He started blurring out. "Those humans," whispered Zane as he collapsed. "Fire, get out. There are humans here. Krak, take the pack and go. Leave, don't help...I don't deserve to live." Krak ran to Zane, but Zane growled at him. "GO!!!" "You to Fire... if I don't make it...you can have my pack..." were the last words Zane said before sleeping.

The sounds of humans were near and so were their hunting dogs. Zane was an easy target.

Shaylah began to run with the rest of the wolves, but stopped as she looked at poor Zane, lying there pathetically, a ruined wolf. And she had caused it... SHe raced over to the fallen Leader, trying to pull his limp body onto hers, but she failed. He was to heavy for her to carry, and she ran back into the woods like a coward under fire of darts, tears flowing from her eyes.

For one last time Zane opened his eyes. He saw everyone running away, he was glad that they heeded him. He thought of what was to happen after he was gone. Zane thought to himself, " ahh...I'm becoming drowsy. Fire will become alpha," He laughed. "He was a better than me or my father. My mate, she shall become a widow, and Firecreek will become a large pack."

Zane looked up at the humans that were about to capture his lifeless body. "Father...I could not become what you wanted me to be. I couldn't rule Firecreek. Instead I saved everyone else from the evil hunters. *sob* For once in my life...I became a...a...a hero. You told me I had the chance to make a difference, and I'm sorry I never listened." Zane said before blaking out.

"I'm sorry."

Fire led the wolves He felt bad for zane he could not Help feeling sorry for him He looked back to see what the humans would do to him. He thought he should go back but he did not know what to do.

Shaylah kept on walking with a heavy heart. She absolutly hated herself for being weak... and for being like her father, the shameless, selfish wolf who had conspired against her and her mother, and who abandoned her. She dragged foot as is if a two-ton weight was strapped to each of them. "Fire?" she whispered, tears falling from her blue and green eyes, "Are we really just going to leave him there?" She looked back at the dirt. She knew the answer. Krak lookedlike he was also taking it hard. Shaylah fell back a bit with Krak. She couldn't think of anything else to say, so she just looked the other way.

fire said well If the humans do not get to him I will go back fire raced back and tried to save him the human were close but fire was quick and he hoisted zane on his back and ran as fast as he could carry zane and Tried to catch up He finnaly caught up to shayla and krak and showed them he had zane.

Shaylah was relieved. "Is he concious, Fire?" She nudged Zane's cheek, hoping to arouse him.

I am not sure But I think he is ok He still has a heart beat so I think he will be alright But we must get out of here so the humans do not try to attack again fire said so he and shayla and krak waked with zane and the others hoping to find a place to stay until the humans attack

Shaylah walked a bit behind, watching for possible threats. Every shake of a bush made her jump and land with her teeth bared and fur bristling in the direction of which it came.

occ: sorry for the short posts and all. I think we should pause the RP and wait for Midnight, Banshee, and fanofbalto23

I agree as fanofBalto123 who is here! We kinda haven't heard from Banshee or Midnight anywhere in the story. I blame my fast typing. BAD!!! Suspect

Shaylah kept on walking until her foot got caught in a small hole hidden by a patch of low shrubs. "Ouch!" she yowled, before realizing it was a cave enterance. She looked ahead to Fire, leading the rest of the wolves with Zane. They must've missed this. she thought. She pushed away the leaves,dug a bit to make the entery larger, and lowered her head as she slowly walked into the cave. It was damp and dark until she came to a chamber only a few feet in that was big enough to hold every single wolf in the new pack and still had room for more. It was also lit by a few holes in the roof which allowed sunlight to pour into the room.
Shaylah raced out of the cave to try to catch up with the pack. She was still a while behind them when she howled. That got Fire's attention. "Fire! I think I found a perfect place for the pack to stay!" she yelled. She saw that her Alpha looked skeptical. "Just follow me!" She assured.

Shaylah bounded her way over to him and leaped onto the rock Fire was laying on. She sat down as well, watching the wolves filing in. It was an amazing sight, ShadowLights and FireCreeks together as one. She turned to Fire and smiled. "This could mean new things you know." she said. She looked forewards again. "You and zane haveyou work cut out for you." She smirked in an amused way and hoped down off the rock, helping to direct the wolves inside.

Shaylah went back to Fire. "Fire? We need to go hunting. I know it's dangerous, especially with all the hunting dogs around, but," she gazed at the huge gathering of wolves, "we have to eat something!" As she said this her stomach growled.

" Maybe I could help...besides I'm a master at hunting." said a voice. Fire and Shayla listened to where the voice was coming from. They looked at the wolf who said that. It was Zane, he was awake. Fire was amazed how even after being shot that Zane would still offer to hunt. " I'll be a great hunter, can I come?" Zane willingly asked.

Thank you friend. Zane smiled as he began stretching. Within seconds Zane was awake and ready to go catch some game! Fire, Zane, Shayla, and Krak went out hunting.
