My life has made an unexpected turn... [RATED: PG; NO UNDER 12'S]

I went to the skin doctor for my skin problems a couple days ago and they had to do a mini surgery on me. They had to take an unusual red bump off my back that they thought might be a virus. So I got news back today that it was a virus that may kill me if it get's too serious. It's called the Molluscum Virus and the doctor said it can't go away. It's also very contagious and my doctor said that I may have gotten it from someone else.

So I'm not a very happy camper... Crying or Very sad

Nobody knows. The virus will be with me for the rest of my life. So all we can do now is hope that it won't get too serious... Sad

I heard about the virus on the news...I'm so sorry to hear it. Well, stay strong, just because you have this illness doesn't mean you have to live life with regret. Keep your hopes and live life they way it was meant for you! I shall keep you in mind.

Now, i know this is very upsetting, it is upsetting for me also... But i please advise you, we don't want to make little children having nightmears (I know litrally all users are Teen or Adult but still) It's a kid site, so i'm not deleting it, not locking it, just putting a 'PG: Age 12, or over.' Stamp.

Sorry to hear this anyway, i hope it dosn't get serious.

Nope. Medicine won't help it. If it begins to grow, I get surgery. Not that that's helpfull. After it's taken out, it grows again. They just give me surgery to lower the growth down. When it get's large again, I'm back in for surgery. pale

That will be my routine for the rest of my life. The worst part is, if I don't realize I have one that's serious, I'm in hight risk. Shocked

O_o oh... well, medical technology is constantly improving, and sooner or later I'm sure they'll find a cure for you. ^^ 'till than your very brave. I go into coniptions just when I get shots...and to constantly have surgery the rest of your life??? pale
